Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Prospect Management to join our team at The University of Chicago. As a key member of the Alumni Relations and Development (ARD) team, you will play a critical role in maximizing the value of fundraising data and systems to support the University's fundraising and engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects to identify potential donors and optimize donor portfolios.
  • Develop and present data-driven strategic analyses and recommendations to support fundraising efforts, including forecasting and measuring the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns.
  • Collaborate with ARD staff to design and execute strategies to grow the size of the prospect pool, leveraging advanced technology and data tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and CRM Analytics.
  • Provide training and support to staff on policy and best practices for portfolio and pipeline management, ensuring a high level of data quality and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovative practices in portfolio and pipeline management, integrating new approaches to improve overall effectiveness of the program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a related job discipline, with a strong background in data analysis and research.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and data analysis tools such as Tableau and CRM Analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
