- Conduct audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the health information management department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of health information management services.
Requirements:
- RHIA/RHIT certification or 3 years of experience in health information management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer knowledge and experience required.
- Medical terminology knowledge required.
- Anatomy and physiology knowledge required.
- Ability to work proficiently alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve.
- Ability to collaborate with other employees and external agencies.
- Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
- Dresses with business attire appropriate for the work environment.
- Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies.
- Must have a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
