Quality Assurance Manager

Ahlstrom is a global leader in combining fibers into sustainable specialty materials. We invite you to join our team in the Quality Department, where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of corporate citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continued execution of the Quality Management System to ensure regulatory and customer needs are met.
  • Manage assigned staff, providing coaching, support, and regular feedback to ensure their growth and development.
  • Oversee testing and auditing for raw materials and finished products, working closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and suppliers to ensure the quality of our products.
  • Communicate effectively with Operators, Maintenance Craftsmen, management teams, finance, and Executives to ensure seamless collaboration and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in pulp/paper science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 15 years of previous work experience in a Quality, Manufacturing role, with at least 10 years of management experience.
  • Ability to work in a normal office environment and in a pulp mill or paper mill environment, safely walking through manufacturing plants and rough outdoor terrain.
