About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our Engineering and Technical Services function, you will be responsible for maintaining complex commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion of duties
  • Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
  • Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy loads
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
  • Sophisticated math skills
