Inventory Management Specialist

The Warehouse Specialist role is a critical position at Bakerly, responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of essential ingredients and packaging materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and document goods received to ensure accuracy
- Maintain shelf life and stock rotation to prevent waste and optimize inventory
- Ensure correct usage of materials, following oldest-lot-first protocol
- Implement batch numbering for easy tracking of consumed goods
- Store and retrieve inventory in a manner that respects FIFO principles
- Regularly reconcile physical inventory counts with computer data to ensure accuracy
- Participate in shipping operations, managing packaging goods, freezer inventory, and packaging materials as needed
- Support receiving operations, transporting ingredients to production lines
- Assist with special projects like palletizing, as required
Requirements:
- Capacity to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent degree required
- Desirable: current OSHA forklift operation certification
- Strong focus on detail and quality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ongoing training and professional growth opportunities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary and Benefits:
