We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians in Clackamas County who are committed to providing empathetic, high-quality medical assistance and both basic and advanced patient care to our community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate each emergency situation to identify the most effective response while adhering to advanced EMT protocols.
  • Employ your EMT expertise with medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery systems, and intravenous therapies to deliver superior medical support.
  • Engage with patients and their families to offer clarity and reassurance regarding the care being administered.
  • Serve as the lead EMT on scene, taking charge of scene management and unit operations as required.
  • Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Oregon State EMT License
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS certifications
  • ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications
  • Driving record compliant with company standards
  • Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
