Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Dana Incorporated is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing operations and driving process improvements across the organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, with experience in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and lean manufacturing. You will be responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement changes.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and improve labor utilization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to production processes, equipment, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Train and support staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have corrective action and problem-solving experience using tools such as 8D, Five-Why or a similar methodology.
  • Ability to perform statistical analysis and be able to read blueprints.
  • Must have Lean experience, training in time studies with APEX preferred.
  • Experience with PFMEA, DOE and process improvements preferred.
