Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering individualized care to patients with renal failure, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the dialysis process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, to patients with renal failure.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and medical information, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Prime dialyzers and bloodlines, and oversee the dialysis treatment from start to finish.
  • Cannulate patients' accesses, administer medications, and clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters.
  • Monitor patients and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record information.
  • Identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify the medical team.
  • Teach patients and their families how to manage their illness, including post-treatment home care needs, diet and nutrition programs, and self-administration of medication.
  • Maintain medical inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients within the dialysis unit.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year current dialysis experience.
  • AHA BLS & ACLS required.
