We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center's Geropsych Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for our patients and support the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Complete bedside shift reports to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
- Meet with the supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks and ensure patient safety.
- Involves patients and families in care planning, taking into account their psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
- Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety, including safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, and fire prevention.
- Adheres to fall precautions by performing or assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.
