Job Summary

Volkert Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Party Chief to join our Southeast Region team in Gainesville, FL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a crew conducting field surveys as defined by the project manager.
  • Accomplish majority of survey tasks with limited interaction with supervisors and/or Land Surveyors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, governing agents, and public representatives involved in each project.
  • Notify clients of project progress, problems, and job completion.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Party Chief.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction staking and boundary and topographic surveys.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
