Job Title: DC Power System Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled DC Power System Technician to join our team at DASIT TELECOMMUNICATIONS LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing on-site services to our customers, ensuring the installation and maintenance of DC power systems meet the highest standards.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installing and servicing battery systems for telecommunications applications
  • Configuring and testing DC cabling, placement, protection, and securing
  • Ensuring proper grounding and alarm wiring
  • Installing power distribution equipment and related components
  • Ability to follow instructions and identify deviations from the scope of work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Applying problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
  • Performing other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Applicable civil and electrical installation experience
  • Experience in telecommunications or civil construction is an asset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingualism is an asset
  • Proficiency in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and/or test equipment
  • Physical requirements include wearing safety gear, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, digging, driving for long distances, and lifting heavy tools and materials
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work in a challenging environment
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and dependable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
Physical Demands
