Position Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Job Summary: This full-time, exempt position operates during the day shift. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering occupational therapy services to students aged 5-22, adhering to established policies and procedures. You will excel in planning, executing, and coordinating comprehensive therapy programs while collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document individualized therapeutic care plans.
  • Collaborate with educators to recommend modifications to adaptive equipment or activities as needed.
  • Engage with families and external services to facilitate smooth transitions for students.
  • Monitor, document, and report on the progress of treatment goals, including data collection and progress assessments.
  • Implement clients' IEP goals across various settings, including educational, community, and vocational environments.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related discipline.
  • Valid assistant-level license to practice Occupational Therapy in California.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an OTA, preferably with children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Strong understanding of assessment and treatment principles related to patient care and safety.
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
  • Current TB clearance.
  • Successful completion of DOJ background check.

Compensation:
  • The hourly pay range for this role is between $31.21 and $34.62, influenced by various factors such as position responsibilities, candidate qualifications, and internal equity.
  • This pay range reflects base salary and is part of a comprehensive rewards package, details of which will be discussed during the hiring process.
