Job Overview

MetaSense Inc is seeking a highly skilled Academic Program Officer to join our team. As a key member of our academic support team, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of programs that support the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and implement new programs to support areas of need
  • Manage and continually improve ongoing programs, seminar series, and events
  • Coordinate with internal administrative departments and dependencies to enhance academic programs and services
  • Develop and disseminate resources for NIH award applicants, including templates and timelines
  • Consult on issues related to mentorship, productivity, and other stakeholder needs
  • Serve as a point of contact and liaison for internal and external partnerships
  • Develop communication strategies and outreach mechanisms to promote office programs
  • Manage stakeholder information management systems and data requests
  • Identify and collect information related to trainee and/or faculty stakeholders for institutional strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Masters degree
  • One year of academic, clinical, or research experience
  • One year of project planning, organizing, and execution experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in science, biomedical, or health-related area
  • Three years of academic, clinical, or research experience
  • Three years of project planning, organizing, and execution experience
  • One year of academic or research administration or management experience
