International Student Affairs Program Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Director for International Student Affairs at Temple University. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs, services, and trainings to support international students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement programs, services, and trainings to support international students.
- Manage transition and acculturation programs to ensure a smooth integration of international students into the university community.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to ensure that international students are engaged and supported.
- Coordinate designed programs and services for the international community, including the Peer2Peer mentoring program and the Global Living Learning Community.
- Oversee the implementation of international student leadership programs and assist the director with developing an international student leadership pathway program.
- Develop and deliver an academic curriculum for the first-year global seminar and serve as a liaison to the university's international academic advisors.
- Coordinate an annual training with the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and lead University-wide programming efforts to increase interactions between international students, domestic students, and the university community.
- Support the Director in managing international student concerns and problems and benchmark programming and curricula from institutions of higher education and professional organizations.
Requirements:
- Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Education, TESOL, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in international student affairs in a higher education setting, including international student management, curriculum design, and program development.
- Proficiency in Banner and familiarity with federal and state regulations affecting international student status.
