Job Summary

The Head Lifeguard is responsible for providing lead supervision for Lifeguards, monitoring activities at the pool, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead supervision of Lifeguards and monitor pool activities
  • Assign Lifeguard shift duties and provide instructions on pool operating procedures, rules, and safety practices
  • Conduct safety checks of the facility and coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Organize events at the pool and assist with setup and teardown
  • Record pool chemistry and maintain a clean and organized Pool House office and storage rooms
Requirements
  • Current Lifeguard Instructor, CPR, and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Prior Lifeguarding and supervisory experience preferred
