Job Title: Head Lifeguard

At The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Lifeguard to join our team. As a key member of our Aquatics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and members while enjoying our pools and water facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of lifeguards to ensure the highest level of safety and service.
  • Monitor pool activities and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Conduct safety checks of the pool area and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with the training and development of lifeguards to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and service.
Requirements:
  • Current Lifeguard Instructor certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
