Head Lifeguard

Join our team as a Head Lifeguard at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, a Four-Star Property recognized by The Forbes Travel Guide. As a key member of our Aquatics team, you will provide lead supervision for Lifeguards, monitor activities at the pool, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

• Lead and supervise Lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
• Monitor activities at the pool and enforce safety rules and regulations
• Assign Lifeguard shift duties and provide guidance on pool operating procedures, rules, and safety practices
• Conduct safety checks of the facility and coordinate maintenance and repairs
• Organize events at the pool and assist with setup and teardown
• Take and record pool chemistry on a schedule and maintain the Pool House office and storage rooms

• Current Lifeguard Instructor, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and high foot traffic areas
• Positive and friendly attitude, with prior Lifeguarding and supervisory experience preferred
• Eye for cleanliness and detail
