About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing public company as a Senior SEC Accountant. The company has been recognized as one of the top places to work in the Tampa Bay area and is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead their SEC reporting efforts.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of SEC reporting, including 10Ks, 10Qs, and footnotes. They will also review external financial communications, work with external auditors and SEC counsel, and coordinate the overall external reporting process. Additionally, they will assist with XBRL reporting, research accounting issues, and provide GAAP interpretation and documentation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA accounting degree, CPA certification, and at least 1 year of SEC reporting experience. Public accounting experience is preferred, and they must have excellent technical accounting skills, spreadsheet knowledge, and communication skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and pay close attention to detail.
