Marketing Assistant Job Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join our team at Sparks Group in Washington, DC. This is a long-term contract position that requires three days of in-office work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
  • Organize and promote events, trade shows, and other marketing activities, ensuring seamless logistics.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and organizing files.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gathering data and preparing insightful reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
  • At least two years of experience in marketing and communications project management, preferably in a large service organization setting.
  • Familiarity with working in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficiency in general office skills and Microsoft Office applications.
