Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at Penske Logistics. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations and a proven track record of driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership to a team of salaried supervisors and hourly workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities.
  • Supervise most processes which directly impact our team and customer, including parts follow-up, supplier management, and customer service operations.
  • Responsible for making corrective action and disciplinary decisions up to written warning level.
  • Involved in the hiring process and leading customer meetings.
  • Reviews and drives account specific KPIs based on parts follow-up requirements.
  • Strategically aligns and leads team to achieve account goals.
  • Partners with supervisor team to put processes in place to exceed customers day-to-day expectations.
  • Actively looks for continuous improvement opportunities to streamline daily processes and activities.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years related functional experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be skilled in problem solving with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Needs to be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of salaried supervisors.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain a strong professional relationship with the customer.
  • Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
Work Environment

This position is located at the Penske facility in Dearborn, MI. Candidate must be willing to work 5 days onsite during launch and training. We will then migrate to a hybrid modal of 3 days in the office 2 days remote. This is subject to change if the business dictates a need to be back in the office 5 days a week.
