Sales Director

At Manning Building Supply, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager I to join our team. As a Sales Manager I, you will be responsible for leading the sales department and managing all sales operations. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Lead the sales department and manage all sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Train and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet sales targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to address market trends and competitor activity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including attendance and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or marketing preferred.
- Prior sales experience and construction background required, with knowledge of building materials.
- Demonstrated record of successful sales and leadership experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
