We are in search of a part-time, tech-savvy Sales Specialist who is enthusiastic about demonstrating the latest advancements in consumer electronics. This role involves representing our esteemed client, Sony, and their distinguished range of televisions, home theater systems, digital imaging, and audio equipment.

The Sony Home Electronics Sales Specialist is crucial in enhancing the Sony brand by identifying customer needs, addressing inquiries, comparing product specifications, and providing tailored recommendations for informed purchasing decisions. This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to military personnel and their families.

Our mission is to simplify the consumer technology purchasing process, making it more personalized and informative while increasing brand visibility during peak hours.

Work Schedule

  • 21 hours per week
  • Shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships with customers and Base Exchange staff
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable Sony products and accessories
  • Engage customers throughout the sales process, from greeting to closing
  • Provide training to Base Exchange personnel on Sony products as needed
  • Ensure proper merchandising and functionality of products
  • Complete same-day online reports documenting visits and customer interactions
  • Maintain communication with the Area Manager through calls, meetings, and emails

Qualifications

  • Security clearance for base access is required upon job offer
  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for consumer electronics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Reliable transportation for commuting
  • Access to the internet and a smart device for reporting and training
  • Availability to work scheduled shifts
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs independently
