Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive District Manager to work closely with our Operations Leadership team. This role is crucial in enhancing the operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across a designated district of facilities. Initially, you will immerse yourself in the storage sector and the responsibilities of a District Manager through hands-on training and practical experience. As you progress, you will collaborate with other District Managers on various operational tasks, including the auction process, maintenance protocols, and overall facility management.

Work Schedule

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours each week.

Travel Requirements

This position involves travel to assigned facilities approximately 25-30% of the time.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Development

  • Communicate effectively with facility teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee facility staff, promoting a supportive and productive workplace.
Facility Management
  • Monitor and assess the physical condition of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.
  • Solicit bids and secure contracts for vendor services to uphold high-quality facility conditions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure adherence to maintenance protocols.
  • Guide your team through the lien and auction processes to minimize delinquency rates and enhance customer retention.
  • Ensure a welcoming and well-maintained environment for customers through effective facility oversight.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Financial Oversight
  • Monitor and improve the financial performance of assigned facilities by managing expenses and promoting growth.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of newly acquired facilities, ensuring smooth integration and consistent operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in multi-unit management is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular travel, including overnight stays, is necessary within the assigned district.
