Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HBM memory subsystems for our storage solutions, ensuring high performance, low power consumption, and optimal area utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design verification, physical design, and software development, to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of our products.
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products.
Requirements
- BE in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience in storage industry, data center technologies, or cloud infrastructures.
- Proven expertise in HBM memory subsystem design, including experience with commercial IPs such as HBM controller and PHY.
- Strong understanding of PPA (performance, power, and area) trade-offs and ability to optimize designs accordingly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated problem-solver with a strong track record of delivering complex designs on time.
Preferred Skills
- Deep understanding of flash memory controller architecture and related IP design, verification, SOC implementation process, and tools.
- Working knowledge of storage technologies (NAND flash, SSD, etc.), especially for datacenter scale products.
- Strong understanding of server memory and storage hierarchies, including emerging technologies such as CXL, computation in memory and storage, and Ethernet-attached SSD.
- Experience with performance modeling of embedded systems and track record of innovation and creativity in problem-solving.
