We are seeking an Assistant Development Planner to join our team As an Assistant Development Planner, you will work closely with the Planning Division to provide primary customer contact and public information.

Responsibilities and Requirements

In this role, you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service to respond to code and land use policy inquiries.
  • Conduct independent technical reviews of proposed projects.
  • Act as liaison between community groups, government agencies, developers, and elected officials.

You will also need:

  • Bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning, environmental studies, geography, political science, public administration, or related field.
  • General knowledge of planning and/or zoning.
  • Internship or experience assisting in the development review process.

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
