Director of Facilities Operations

At Veranda Club, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including maintenance, housekeeping, and transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets of the community.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.
- Plan, organize, and develop the overall housekeeping and laundry operations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Review monthly financial statements and implement plans of action for deficiencies.
- Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data timely.
- Complete team member staffing and scheduling according to operational and budgetary guidelines.
- Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained in good working condition and have vehicles regularly inspected to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Oversee the safe transportation of passengers from community areas to destinations according to schedule.
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's/Technical degree in a related field.
- Four years of maintenance supervision experience.
- HVAC experience or training.
- Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing, and related repair.
- Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Provides leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well.
