We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Work with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in fleet maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
- ASE certifications and/or other industry-recognized certifications a plus.
