Job Overview

Compassion Pediatrics LLC is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Healthcare Assistant to become a vital part of our medical team. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and clinical duties that contribute to the efficient functioning of our practice.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of High School or equivalent educational background.
  • Medical Assistant Diploma or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote a welcoming patient experience by ensuring a clean and safe environment, along with maintaining necessary supplies.
  • Accurately document patient vitals and update medical records.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and provide assistance to healthcare providers as needed.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications while ensuring proper documentation.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and collect lab samples.
  • Collaborate with the patient-centered medical home team to achieve quality care standards.
