Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner - Nemours Children's Hospital Orlando

Nemours is on the lookout for a dedicated Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to enhance our Gastroenterology Team in Orlando.

This role involves conducting patient interviews, gathering and documenting health histories, performing comprehensive physical and developmental evaluations, diagnosing health issues, and managing the healthcare of patients within the scope of training. The position also includes providing health education and counseling, initiating necessary referrals, and maintaining accurate health records.


Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida APRN/PA license in good standing is required.
  • Pediatric certification is mandatory.
  • Current AHA BLS certification is needed upon hiring.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Nursing is essential.
  • Experience in Pediatric Advanced Practice is preferred.

Family Nurse Practitioners with relevant pediatric experience will be considered, provided they complete their pediatric certification within three years of employment.
