Job Summary

The Store Maintenance Technician is a key member of the Jiffy Trip team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on store equipment, including but not limited to, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of store facilities to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with store management and other team members to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to wear personal protective equipment.
