Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team of MD Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. The successful candidate will provide technical support in and out of the operating room, including anesthesia equipment setup and maintenance, patient preparation, and assistance with anesthesia delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations
• Prepare and check anesthesia equipment prior to use
• Assist in patient preparation, including placing patient monitors and positioning
• Assist with anesthesia delivery according to anesthesiologist and CRNA instructions
• Maintain anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and performing safety checks

Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or prior Anesthesia Technology experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) preferred
