Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

The Hospitals of Providence seeks a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care, including cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic stabilization, and evidence-based medicine practices.
• Participate in patient and family teaching, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state registration or eligibility to do so.
• BCLS certification; ACLS certification within 6 months of employment for RNs with more than 1 year of experience, and within 12 months of hire for new RNs/GNs.
