Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a progressive care or ICU setting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- CRRN certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
