Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to provide contractual support and insight to enable Agilent's business.

In this role, you will create and manage contracts, provide contractual solutions, and collaborate with internal partners to meet business requirements.

As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate support to stakeholders on defined contracts, requiring basic negotiation skills and the ability to understand and interpret Agilent standard customer and partner terms.

You will ensure compliance with local requirements and review non-standard terms and conditions in customer purchase orders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaboration with Sales to create and renew contracts.
  • Contract creation, maintenance, and renewal, including obtaining approvals and creating contractual documents.
  • Full ownership of assigned contracts to align with important deadlines.
  • Management of contracts in the Contracts Lifecycle Management Tool.
  • Report creation in different reporting tools.
  • Review of non-standard terms and conditions for purchase orders.
  • First-level consultation for contracts and terms & conditions questions.
  • Collaboration with the Legal Organization for complex negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, prioritize workload, and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agilent Enterprise tools, including SAP ECC.
  • Excellent communication, influencing skills, and teamwork.
