About the Role

The Senior Network Specialist plays a critical role in supporting membership growth and management at Oscar Health. This position involves executing the local network strategy and ensuring providers across our service area have the necessary information and support to deliver exceptional member care and drive quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and execution of a network construction plan for a market or several markets, working closely with the manager to align with contracting strategies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to identify, source, and contract with providers in a region, leveraging expertise to drive successful partnerships.
  • Support overall contract negotiations, working with the manager to bring new partners into our network and ensure seamless integration.
  • Be the go-to expert on core operational workflows and tools, identifying trends and synthesizing data to inform business decisions.
  • Document and share feedback, objections, and questions, and identify trends to support the continuous improvement of templates and processes.
  • Support the team on additional improvement initiatives as identified, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years of work experience in finance, performance management, operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Suite equivalent).
  • 1+ years of experience in a client-facing or customer support capacity.
  • 1+ experience with project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in payer or provider healthcare contracting.
  • Experience negotiating contracts, specifically with ancillaries, facilities, specialty providers, and physician groups.
