Grounds Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a skilled Groundsperson with a Class A CDL to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and rules.
- Perform tasks from the ground, including clearing brush and trees as directed.
- Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris, feeding brush into a brush chipper as needed.
- Use hand lines to lower limbs and equipment, and perform general clean-up of job sites.
- Set up and break down road signs, and flag traffic to protect employees and the public from potential harm or injury.
- Drive trucks or operate other equipment as assigned, and perform basic maintenance service on trucks and equipment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- The ability to physically perform the duties of the job, including dragging heavy limbs and working in uneven terrain.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- The ability to comprehend verbal job instructions and information, and to communicate with others.
- A valid Driver's License is required if hired for a driving position.
