Job Summary

Maricopa Community Colleges is seeking highly qualified Engineering adjunct faculty to teach in-person classes at our Avondale campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct a diverse population of students using active-learning, student-centered teaching strategies to engage students and promote student success.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the college.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student success and retention.
Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or higher in one of the following fields: Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Mechanics, Architectural Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computational Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Construction Engineering, Data Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Education, Engineering Physics, Engineering Science, Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Optical Science Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Software Engineering, Sustainable Engineering, and Systems Engineering.
