Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate K-8 School Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide guidance and support to students and families, helping them navigate social, emotional, and academic challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Create and lead student support teams to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with administration to review referrals and develop targeted support plans.
  • Drive the implementation of tier 1 programs, providing training and support to teachers as needed.
  • Develop and lead cross-grade tier 2 groups to support students' social and emotional growth.
  • Maintain awareness of student diagnoses and develop individualized plans for tier 3 students.
  • Connect with parents and provide referrals to our team as needed.
  • Provide outside referrals for students as necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • MN School Counselor or School Social Worker License (preferred).
Location and Duration

Victoria, MN. Full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
