Senior Automation Specialist

Net2Source Inc. is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of laboratory automation.
We are currently seeking an experienced Automation Scientist III to join our Data, AI and Genome Sciences group at our facility in Cambridge, MA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory automation and experience working with automated systems and instrumentation.
Salary: $48.50/hour (W2)
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled professional to operate and maintain our automated systems, including liquid handlers, detectors, and robots.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing experiments, interpreting results, and utilizing this information for automated workflow development and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of automated systems
- Designing experiments and interpreting results
- Automated workflow development and optimization
- Monitoring and error recovery
Qualifications:
Education: An associate's degree in engineering or life sciences with a minimum of 4 years of experience in laboratory automation OR a bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or life sciences with 2 years of experience in laboratory automation.
Required Skills:
- Experience with automated wet lab assay execution
- Assay validation and optimization
- Microsoft Office, LabView, introductory Python skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with liquid handler and robotic arms
Benefits:
This is a contract position lasting 24 months.
