Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager - Operations to lead our store operations and drive sales and profits. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational processes, leading a team of well-trained team members, and delivering a customer-centric shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing store workload, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of team members to achieve their role Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the overall store results.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and execute inventory management processes, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising.
  • Visual Merchandising: Manage visual merchandising standards, execute feature space and seasonal layouts, and maintain a well-merchandised store.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly customer service, acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Training and Development: Train, observe, and coach team members to achieve results, participate in performance management, and support Talent Development.
  • Leadership Competencies: Demonstrate leadership competencies, including interacting with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful, and promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values.
Requirements
  • Retail Management Experience: 1+ year of retail management leadership experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Work Environment

Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas, some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required.
