Manager, Federal Financial Advisory Services

KPMG is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Federal Advisory practice as a Manager, Federal Finance Transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial management and controls to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze financial data and processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement financial transformation initiatives, including process mapping, visualization, and data analysis.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance financial management skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key business drivers and develop financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee the review of financial reports and statements, including audit requests and responses.
- Stay up-to-date on federal regulations and standards, including FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB.
- Minimum of five years of experience in federal financial management and controls, reporting, budgeting, auditing, or audit readiness.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; CPA/CISA/PMP/CGFM/CDFM/CFE/LSS preferred.
- Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practices.
- Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
- U.S. Citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal Government Secret Security Clearance.
