Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead a team of professionals in delivering financial management advisory services to U.S. Federal government clients.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide technical knowledge in financial management areas, including financial reporting, internal controls, and financial business systems.
- Financial Risk Management: Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting transactions processes, including controls related to federal entities.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data, financial information, and system outputs to determine their effect on business processes, controls, and accounting treatment.
- Financial Data Management: Identify financial data and system issues related to posting logic, USSGL compliance, data management, and processes.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and visualizations, perform reconciliations, cleanse data, and perform complex accounting analysis of financial data.
- Project Management: Manage across the project lifecycle, including assisting with scope definition, business case development, vendor assessment, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation phases.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of federal financial management experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; CPA, CGFM, CDFM certifications preferred.
- Skills: Experience in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements for U.S. Federal government entities, as well as experience with data querying, analytics, visualization, or RPA tools.
- Leadership: Experience in leading project engagements, staff development, internal financial controls, business process analysis, and financial business systems.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading financial practices.
- Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government TS/SCI + Poly security clearance.
