Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all facets of the program, ensuring effective execution while adhering to established timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and uphold the project plan, ensuring resource alignment, management of deliverable deadlines, and contract oversight to maintain cost efficiency, scheduling, and quality of all financial and resource services.
  • Create and sustain financial management strategies, including cost assessments and resource forecasting.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to collect requirements, evaluate needs, and offer strategic insights and recommendations for financial and resource management initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and resource utilization to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor staff, providing direction and support to achieve program goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to address issues, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction with financial and resource services.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing similar activities within the Department of State is essential.
  • Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in managing financial contracts within the Federal sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or business is highly desirable.
  • An advanced degree in finance, accounting, or business is even more desirable.
