Qualifications for Caregivers Serving Hospice and Post-Acute Clients:

  • Prior experience working with hospice clients or those recovering from illness or injury
  • Possession of HCA registration or eligibility for HCA (must pass background check and TB test)
  • Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to delivering excellent care

As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personal care and comfort to hospice and post-acute clients
  • Addressing clients' non-medical needs, including companionship and social interaction
  • Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Establishing effective communication and professional relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues
  • Ensuring reliable care by being punctual and consistently available for shifts
