Job Summary

The Intake Clinician, LCSW/LPC, plays a crucial role in providing psychotherapy intakes for patients and families. This position requires a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling and 1-3 years of full-time post-master's degree practice under supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of comprehensive evaluation, case management components, and crisis intervention processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to identify therapy goals and establish diagnoses.
  • Develop effective conceptualization and initial treatment goals that are socio-culturally sensitive.
  • Routinely consult with internal and external resources to ensure collaborative efforts and maximize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure patient involvement in care planning and goal setting with informed consent documented.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • 1-3 years of full-time post-master's degree practice under supervision.
  • LCSW or LPC licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
