Mental Health SUD Counselor Position

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health SUD Counselor to join our team at the University of Colorado. The successful candidate will provide behavioral health assessments and counseling services to adults living with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and dually diagnosed individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mental health and admission assessments for dually diagnosed populations.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Monitor patients' psychiatric needs and coordinate appointments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts.
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid Professional Counseling license (LPC), Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW), Marriage and Family Counseling License (LMFT), or Addiction Counselor license (LAC) from the State of Colorado.
- Two years of experience working with the dually diagnosed and/or substance using population.
