Guest Room Care Position

The primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness and appeal of guest accommodations in alignment with company expectations:

  • Perform daily changes of bed linens.
  • Vacuum all carpeted surfaces.
  • Dust and clean furniture, including frames, lamps, televisions, and dressers.
  • Eliminate fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, and windows.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect the bathroom area, encompassing the shower, sink, floor, and toilet.
  • Ensure rooms are arranged according to established standards.
  • Promptly report any damages, missing items, or personal belongings found in unoccupied rooms.
  • Inform the Executive Housekeeper about any rollaway beds or cribs in rooms for proper storage.
  • Be responsible for the room passkey and return it at the end of each day.
  • Deliver all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper without delay.

Additional Duties:

  • Notify the Executive Housekeeper of rooms with no luggage, no service needed, sleep-outs, additional guests, or any irregularities.
  • Ensure all lights, televisions, and air conditioning units are switched off when leaving a room.
  • Assist housekeeping personnel with any additional cleaning tasks as required.
  • Carry out any other responsibilities that are inherent to the role or requested by management in a timely and cooperative manner.
