Position Overview: This role involves serving as a liaison between patients, payers, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate billing and maximize hospital reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and payers
  • Verify demographic information to ensure accurate billing
  • Maximize collection efficiency through effective communication and coordination
  • Assist with patient transfers and admissions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Receive and forward deliveries and packages
  • Attend meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Assist medical staff with administrative tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of registration experience in a healthcare setting
  • Emergency Department registration experience preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance plans and payors
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in English
