Key Responsibilities:
As an Infant Care Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and sustaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing atmosphere for children.
  • Collaborating with fellow educators to foster a cohesive teaching environment.
  • Implementing effective classroom management strategies tailored to the developmental needs of each child.
  • Ensuring compliance with state ratio requirements for child supervision.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the classroom.
  • Promoting children's physical and cognitive development through engaging activities.
  • Adapting educational programs to cater to the unique needs of each child.
  • Fostering a multicultural learning environment that respects diversity.
  • Communicating professionally with families and colleagues.
  • Encouraging parental involvement in their children's educational journey.
  • Maintaining individual portfolios for each child, documenting progress and observations.
  • Participating in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
