Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and respond to the individual needs of each infant, providing personalized support and care.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and engaging environment that promotes independence, exploration, and learning.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively and respectfully to ensure the best possible care for each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles and promotes child-led learning.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree (any subject).
